How long does it take to get a trademark registered in the EU?

It takes around 4-6 months to get a trademark registered in the EU. First, your application has to go through the examination phase (1 month), followed by the opposition period (3 months). If no opposition is filed, registration follows shortly after.

If an office action is issued or an opposition is filed, the timeline extends accordingly and can run to 18 months or more depending on the complexity of the proceedings.
