EU trademark registration through the EUIPO typically takes approximately 4 to 5 months for unchallenged applications: around one month for examination and three months for the opposition period, followed by registration.

Swiss trademark registration through the IGE/IPI typically takes approximately 5 months for unchallenged applications. Switzerland is not an EU member and is not covered by an EU trademark; separate applications are required for each.
