The Paris Convention priority period for EU trademark applications is six months from the filing date of the original application in a Paris Convention member country.

If an application is filed with the EUIPO within this six-month window, the applicant can claim the filing date of the original application as the effective date of the EUIPO application. Applications filed after the six-month window has closed cannot claim this priority right.
