How long do I have to oppose an EU trademark application?

The opposition window is three months from the date an EU trademark application is published in the EU Trade Marks Bulletin. This deadline is strict; oppositions filed after the three-month window has closed are not accepted.

The publication date, not the filing date of the application, is the starting point for the opposition period.
