Can I claim priority from a national trademark when filing with EUIPO?

Yes, it’s possible to claim priority within 6 months of the original national filing.

When you claim priority, your EUIPO application will be treated as if it had been filed on the date of the original national application. This is relevant for determining precedence over third-party applications filed in the intervening period.

To claim priority, the applicant must declare the earlier application's country, filing date, and application number at the time of filing or within one month of the EUIPO filing date.
