If you register a wordmark, you gain full protection over the word/s in a given class of goods and services in those countries where the registration is successfully finalized.

This means that you can apply any font to your word trademark.

If you use your brand name in many different fonts, for example, on your website and social media, you can consider registering a wordmark. This way, your brand name will have complete protection no matter what font you use. You can also change the font in the future without the need to file a new trademark application.
