Unfortunately, it is not possible to add a logo to an existing or a pending trademark. As a matter of fact, it is not possible to add any extra elements (written or visual) to a pending or registered trademark.
If you decide to change your brand logo by adding an additional element, it is advisable to submit a new application with the new version of the mark that is currently in use.
Furthermore, if you wish to add a new class of goods/services to an existing trademark or a pending application, you have to file a new application as well.
