Yes, an EU trademark is registered by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and valid in all 27 EU member states. EU trademarks exist alongside trademarks registered at the national level, registered by the given country's intellectual property office and only valid within that country.

Since national trademarks and EU trademarks are registered by different government bodies, the fees, requirements and timelines of approval vary.
