Should I register both the name and the logo trademarks at once?

Yes, if your budget allows for both registration, you should file separate wordmark and figurative applications. Filing both applications simultaneously means both priority dates are established at the same time, giving you the earliest possible protection for each element.

If filing both at once is not feasible, file the wordmark first since the name is typically the higher-value asset. The figurative mark can follow as a second application when resources allow.
