Trademark registration really depends on the jurisdiction your application was filed in. On Trama’s side, it usually takes us no longer than a week to deliver you the first draft of your trademark application. From there, it takes a couple of days (depending on your responsiveness) to finalize the application draft and file it with the appropriate IP office.

Once your application has been filed, the timeline depends on the respective IP office you filed your trademark in. That being said, the expected wait times for the most sought after jurisdictions are:

  • U.S. – 12–14 months
  • European Union – 4 months
  • United Kingdom – 4–5 months
  • Canada – 20–25 months
  • China – 12 months
  • Australia – 6–7 months
  • New Zealand – 5 months
