The short answer is yes; anyone can register a trademark, be it an individual or a legal entity.

However, you need a representative to file the application in countries other than your own. In your home country, you can either use the help of a representative or file the application yourself; however the representative will generally have an easier time preparing your application and a higher chance of getting it approved.
