Comparing a trademark and copyright is like comparing apples and oranges because they serve different purposes and protect different aspects of intellectual property.

A trademark is used to protect the name, logo, or symbol that identifies a brand or company. It helps prevent others from using similar marks that could confuse customers.

Copyright, on the other hand, protects original creative works like books, music, art, or movies. It gives the creator the exclusive rights to control how their work is used, reproduced, or distributed.

So, if you want to protect your brand, use a trademark. If you want to protect your creative work, use copyright. In many cases, it's beneficial to have both.
