Unfortunately, an outcome of a trademark application can never be 100 % predicted, and the trademark cannot be guaranteed.
To minimize the chances that a given trademark application will be opposed or refused by the IP office, you might do some background search on other existing trademarks. An attorney or a lawyer can perform the search. However, since trademark registries are public, you can also search them yourself.
Once you establish that no identical or confusingly similar brand was filed or registered, your chance for a successful registration increases.
You should be aware that all similar brands will have legal grounds to oppose your application if they believe your registration could lead to confusion between the two brands.
