A trademark certificate is an official confirmation of your trademark registration with a given IP office. It includes a registration number under which the trademark can be located in the trademark registry, the official owner of the trademark, and the class(es) in which the trademark is registered. Furthermore, it includes the date of the entry in the trademark registry.

Once you receive your trademark certificate, the registration procedure is officially over. Moreover, you can start using the ® symbol with the exact version of your brand name/logo that you registered. The ® signifies that a brand name/logo is officially registered with one or more IP offices.

Generally, you will receive an electronic version of the trademark certificate; however, you can also request a paper version. In most cases such a version is paid for and will be delivered to the address of your choice.
