How long will it take to get the registration number and trademark?

Two distinct numbers are involved: the application serial number and the registration number.

The serial number is assigned as soon as the application is filed and typically appears in the IP office's public database within a few business days. This is the number used for Amazon Brand Registry enrollment and for tracking the application's progress.

The registration number will only be assigned to your application after it’s fully registered. The timeline to receiving the reg. number depends on the jurisdiction. For faster jurisdictions, it’s close to 4-6 months (EU, UK), while for longer jurisdictions, the timeline can span 12-14 months (US) and even 20-25 months (Canada).
