If no office actions or oppositions are raised during registration, the standard EU timeline to full registration is 4-6 months from filing.

The EUIPO's examination phase typically takes around one month. If the application passes, it is published for a three-month opposition window. Where no opposition is filed, registration follows shortly after the window closes.

If an objection is raised by the examiner or an opposition is filed by a third party, the process can extend considerably, sometimes to 18 months or more depending on the complexity of the proceedings.
