What are the deadlines for registering a trademark in the USA?

There are no statutory deadlines by which you must register a trademark in the US. You can file at any time.

There are, however, deadlines within the process once an application is filed. Office action responses must be submitted within set timeframes (typically three months, extendable to six). The Statement of Use for intent-to-use applications must be filed within the window granted after the Notice of Allowance. Missing these internal deadlines can result in the application being abandoned.
