Does upper/lower case make any difference in trademark registration?

No, the choice of letter case has little to no impact on your chances of successfully registering a trademark.

There might be a few cases where the resemblance of certain letters of a specific typeface (such as the lower case l and upper case I) might lend the mark a secondary layer of interpretation, tipping the chances in the applicant's favour, but these are very rare. The choice of letter case is considered a mere stylisation, and because of that, unable to significantly influence the overall distinctiveness of the mark.
