Does letter case matter when registering a trademark?

No, when you are applying for a trademark, the choice of letter case does not matter, meaning both that:

  • You are not bound to fill out the application in a certain way (although we would recommend entering the mark as you usually use it, e.g. if you write your brand name in all caps, apply for the trademark in all caps),
  • It has little to no impact on your chances of successful registration.
