Once registered, a trademark typically lasts for 10 years, after which it can be renewed indefinitely in 10-year cycles. In the United States, there is also a requirement to file a Declaration of Use between the 5th and 6th year after registration to confirm that the trademark is still in commercial use.

A registered trademark protects you from others using identical or confusingly similar names, logos, or slogans in connection with similar goods or services. This helps prevent consumer confusion, protects your brand reputation, and gives you the legal tools to stop copycats and enforce your exclusive rights in the marketplace.

Submit your trademark for a free lawyer’s check and find out if it’s eligible for registration.
