There is no difference in terms of price when you apply for a trademark solely for the purpose of accessing the Amazon Brand Registry.

The cost of your application will depend on three factors:

  • The country. The IP office of each country has its own pricing. Amazon recognises trademark applications filed in one of the following 19 countries: USA, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Australia, India, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Turkey, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, the UK, the EU and United Arab Emirates.
  • The number of classes of goods or services listed on the application, i.e. the categorisation of what your Amazon shop sells. The more classes you choose, the higher the price - but you might need to do so if you sell a larger variety of products to protect them all. You can learn more about classes in our Trademark Academy.
  • Whether you are filing your application yourself or through an attorney/law firm, who will have their own service fees. Bear in mind that in some countries, you might not be allowed to file yourself if you are not a resident.
