Changing the ownership details of your EU trademark is made by filing a request with the EUIPO, accompanied by official evidence of the name change, such as a certificate of incorporation, a company registry extract, or another official document confirming the new name.

A name change does not transfer ownership of the trademark; the same legal entity retains ownership under its new name. A fee applies for recording the change.
