The trademark certificate is issued by the IP office where you register your trademark. If you are using a legal representative's assistance, the IP office will most commonly send the certificate to their email address. They will then forward the certificate to you.

The majority of the IP offices issue electronic certificates; however, you can receive a paper version upon request. Usually, issuing a paper version is subject to an additional fee. There's no difference between an electronic and paper certificate in terms of validity.

In case you register multiple marks with one IP office, for example, a logo and a wordmark, you will receive two certificates. If you register one trademark with multiple IP offices, you'll also receive individual certificates from each of them.
