If I register my brand name as a trademark, will it appear in the USPTO database?

Yes, once your application is filed, it becomes publicly available in the USPTO database. The entry includes the mark, the owner's details, the registration number and date (once it’s fully registered), the classes and goods/services covered.

The registration also gives you the legal basis to oppose similar applications, send cease and desist letters, and pursue infringement proceedings against those who use a confusingly similar mark in connection with the same goods or services.
