The standard registration fee covers all routine USPTO communications during the application process, including examination notices and publication confirmations, as well as handling basic administrative office actions.

However, more substantive office actions, such as likelihood of confusion refusals or descriptiveness objections, will require additional legal work and do come with extra fees.

Trama’s end-to-end guarantee option covers these contingencies for a 20% extra charge on top of basic registration fees. It is available when your mark is assessed as eligible after the initial check.
