Getting a trademark in the country of expansion would definitely be advisable. Since the trademark only protects your business in those jurisdictions where you file your application, it is always a good idea to expand your registration once your business grows.

You can simply file a new application with the national IP office. However, before you do, it might be worthwhile to check the risk of registering your mark. Even if you successfully registered a trademark in one country in the past, it might not be smooth sailing in another. For example, you may discover new companies with trademarks similar to yours who are active in the market of your expansion.
