I filed for the US trademark already; which countries should I consider next as a priority?

This decision depends on multiple factors as it is very subjective. You can consider registration in countries where you are currently commercially active. For example, if you have many customers from the EU, you can file for an EU trademark and gain protection in all 27 EU member states.

You can also base your decision on how much you are willing to spend on the trademark. You can always expand the list of the countries at a later date, so it is not necessary to cover all of them at the same time.

If you have a start-up company and your finances are limited, it might be a good idea to secure a trademark in countries where you think a third party is more likely to copy your brand. Some companies register their trademarks in the biggest markets first, such as the UK, EU, Canada, Australia, and China, and then continue in smaller countries.
