Mobile apps are covered by Class 9 (as downloadable software). Depending on what the app does, you may need additional classes to cover all functionalities.

An app that sells clothing would benefit from Class 25 for the goods and Class 35 for the retail service. An app that delivers media content might need Class 41. An app that provides financial services would need Class 36. The app itself as a technical product is in Class 9; the commercial activities it enables may span additional classes depending on the business model.
