If your trademark application gets dismissed by the intellectual property office, you will lose all your fees and the protection that was granted to you from the date of filing. If you filed your application for the sole purpose of accessing the Amazon Brand Registry, your access might be revoked.

In the US, specifically, it is possible to submit a petition to revive a refused trademark, but success is case-dependent. But generally, you will have to submit a new application and start all over again.

It's worth mentioning that IP offices don't dismiss applications without raising an office action first. This takes the form of a formal notice, which also includes proposed actions the applicant can do to save their case.
