Trademark ownership details can always be changed upon request. Ownership details such as the address of a company or a physical person can be amended for a small fee, as they fall under simple administrative changes.

If you wish to change ownership completely and transfer the intellectual property rights, it is possible via a trademark assignment. If you or your company wish to transfer the rights for the trademark to another physical person, or a legal entity, you will need to sign an "assignment agreement". You will then have to submit it to the respective IP office. Such agreements protect the rights of both the assignor and the assignee during and after the process.

You will be requested to pay a government fee for processing the request and wait until the changes are recorded. The trademark registry will reflect the changes accordingly.
