How much does intent to use trademark application cost?

The filing fee for an intent-to-use trademark application in the US is $350 per class. This is the same fee as for a use-in-commerce application.

An ITU application also requires a Statement of Use to be filed once the mark enters commercial use, which costs an additional $150 per class at that stage. This is a separate fee paid later in the process, not at the time of filing.

Please note these are government fees paid directly to the USPTO. If you file through a representative, additional fees for their services will apply. Non-US applicants are required by law to use a licensed US attorney.
