The Nice Classification system categorizes goods and services into different classes for trademark registration. The first 34 classes are dedicated to goods, covering various product categories such as chemicals, paints, cosmetics, machinery, vehicles, etc. The remaining 11 classes are for services, encompassing areas like advertising, telecommunications, transportation, education, legal services, and more. It's important to select the appropriate class or classes that correspond to the nature of your goods or services when filing a trademark application to ensure proper classification and protection.

You can find an overview of all classes in our article Understanding goods & services selection.
