Is a restaurant menu a proper specimen of use?

Yes. A menu is a suitable specimen for restaurant and hospitality services (Class 43). The mark must be clearly and legibly displayed, must match the version filed in the trademark application, and the menu must be a real specimen from commercial use; not a mock-up or sample.
