Who needs to sign the Power of Attorney?

The Power of Attorney must be signed by the person or entity granting the authority; the trademark applicant or owner. This is either the individual who will own the trademark or, if the applicant is a company, an authorized signatory such as a director or officer.

The legal representative receiving the authority does not sign the PoA; they are the party being authorized to act.
