Yes. Notifying you of an office action and advising on the appropriate response is a standard part of a trademark attorney's role. The IP office sends the notification to the representative's address on record, and the representative should forward it to you promptly, along with an assessment of the issues raised and the recommended course of action.

If you have not heard from your attorney and your application is approaching a point where an office action might be issued, checking the application status directly in the IP office's public database is straightforward and does not require contacting your representative.
