Can I amend my trademark application in response to an office action?

Yes, as a part of an office action response, you are permitted to make certain alterations to your application, including:

  • Limiting or clarifying the list of goods and services (but not expanding the list),
  • Minor changes to the mark itself (but no changes that could result in a "material alteration" of the mark),
  • Correcting the intended owner details (but not changing the owner).
