Most of my clients are Irish and American, would you recommend the Irish & US or EU & US trademark?

If you are only looking for protection in Ireland, it is sufficient to submit your application to the Irish IP office. It is cheaper than the EU trademark; however, the protection will be limited to Ireland.

You can base your final decision on your budget and the scope of protection you seek. If you plan to expand your commercial activities to the EU at some point, you can consider getting the EU trademark to secure your brand name for the future.
